Sometimes I just to kick back and relax.  Today was not one of those days.  We had a full day starting out with an Easter egg hunt, followed by a birthday party.  Then we came home and took a nap.  After the nap I read an investment book for about 20 minutes and then went outside and painted two mailbox posts and numbers, talked with a neighbor for a few minutes and then went inside to put one of our kids to bed.

Don't know where the time went.  Guess I should have planned the day out on paper, because I still have things that could be done.  I know I should get off my butt and do something else but… I'm tired and just want to relax.  Of course, tomorrow will be busy but more relaxing… I hope!

Success is hard work and takes planning… at this rate I'll have a tough time making this a successful year!  How about you? Hopefully you've been able to plan the year better than I have.  I'm going to crack open Dan Miller's book, 48 Days to the Work You Love.  Dan talks about the need to be successful in all areas of your life, and provides a list of the areas one should consider.  It's worth a read and I recommend that you check it out.
