My fiance and I are going through this right now. His adult daughter came to him a few months ago telling him that she couldn't make ends meet. He's been giving her $1,400 a month since then. We got a frantic call from her mother 2 weeks ago telling us that his daugher was in Miami(we live in California) falling down drunk and acting foolish. Since she's been getting money from him she has been wasting it on 5 new tattos, booze and partying. Once we got wind of the news my fiance cut off all funds. She should have been wise with the extra money. She wasn't struggling financially she just didn't have the funds to go out and make an ass out of herself. Excellent post.
